Colonia lighthouse

A small tower light. It’s still an aid to navigation with a red blinking pattern but it’s modern LED type. The light is technically aiding river navigation so there isn’t much tide and the elevation of the tower can be low. No tours when I visited. Likely all rusty and unsafe. I liked how the tower and the walls were built at different times and different eras.Read more
