Sometimes I need to feel like home

I’d love to write some deep thought about being away from home, and away from loved ones, and the need to connect with the known world, but I’m not that eloquent. Instead I will say, it’s been 23 days on this trip, the language (especially how hard my brain works every day just to get the right direction on the subway) can make the trip less than fun. But there are times when everything clicks, I surprise myself with my abilities, my courage, and my general happy being. I look around and think “Holy Shit! I’m in Buenos Aires, no matter what happens today I’m on a huge adventure. “
Then I eat here for lunch and it makes me smile.Read more
