Volcanos National Park

When you find yourself on a volcanic island it’s best to view its origin. Volcanos National Park is about 45 minutes from our home. We packed a lunch and headed out. The drive climbed over 4,000 feet (but it wasn’t noticeable) and we had our new road story guide (more on that later). Visitors center, a walk along the edge’ish of the caldera and a stroll through a lava tube. A good intro a second and third visit will be extra fun and a huge benefit of staying a month.Les mer
