It’s a Winter Wonderland

We decided after our husky excursion to stay at the resort between our next excursion and explore the surrounding property.
The resort is set out with lovely cabins scattered throughout the grounds with some guests making snowmen outside their doors.

We wandered over the suspension bridge, admired the scenery, played around in the snow and then retreated to the warmth of the resort restaurant for a delicious lunch and drinks. Our corner table next to the glass walls allowed us to enjoy the outdoors without the chill. We all tried the traditional salmon soup and the flavour was amazing.

It was a great way to spend the time between our excursions instead of taking the bus back to Rovaniemi only to have to return two hours later.Read more
