7km from Boca do Risco to Machico (mayb

Only 7km today, 4km up and 3km down. It was absolutely spectacular! The weather was fantastic, however I'd very stupidly forgotten to take my hat and my extra water bottle. Oh, and my sunscreen 😱🙄😂. All was not lost, though, as I wore our Jan's fleece on my head 🙄 and was saved by a truck selling cold water. I won't be doing that again!
