Sounds absolutely fantastic!!! Is there anything left to do??? I bet there is. Sounds truly awesome. Thanks so much for blogging.
When Jax and I went to Australia we went to a sheep farm and saw shearing. Any plans to get up close and comfy with some sheep and lamb chops??
We have seen a ton of sheep, cows, and goats while driving around the North Island. We also saw some Alpaca, Emu, and peacocks which all appeared to be part of farms (not wild). We haven't seen any active shearing but have seen sheep ranging from "freshly shorn" to "what is that ball of fluff." In terms of lamb chops, we're doing all our cooking on a small camp stove that easily blows out when wind comes, so extravagant meals of lamb are probably not doable. However, if we dine at a restaurant we'll keep it in mind. Though eating baby lambs doesn't really appeal to the former vegetarian who's name means "Little Lamb."
