Day 3 Skykomish to Leavenworth

51.06 miles 3709 ft. Today was a cold, gray, and slightly rainy day. The first 17 miles was a long uphill climb to the top of Steven’s Pass, an altitude of about 4000'. Dave met the group at a nice rest stop with hot stroganoff for lunch. It was then downhill to the hotel. Leavenworth is a lovely Bavarian village. We have a rest day here tomorrow.Read more
