Day 13 Hot Springs to Kalispell

64 miles, 2763 feet. It is so amazing how vast this country is. For miles we see grassy valleys and hillsides. We were truly in a dead zone with no cell service. There were few houses, buildings or even livestock. The route was a pretty straight shot up Hwy 93 to Kalispell. At lunch we reached Flathead Lake. There were definitely more trees and signs of civilization. Our overnight tonight is in Kalispell, which is the commercial and medical hub for northwest Montana.
