Day 12 Thompson Falls to Hot Springs

47.23 Miles, 2543 Feet. After a rainy night and a wet early morning, the rain stopped by breakfast time. Today's route was on mostly smooth pavement. We followed the Clark Fork River for much of the way with some slow gentle up and downhills. Just before our lunch stop there was a five mile climb, but the grade was fairly gentle. As we made our way through the last few miles, the mountain slopes had fewer trees and lots of grasslands in the valley. Our overnight tonight is in Hot Springs, Montana which is on the Flathead Reservation. We had a massage therapist and a reflexologist waiting for us when we arrived. Czytaj więcej
