Karauli

The weather today was exceptionally hot 43 and we had a packed day visiting the red sandstone Fatehpuri Sikri then stopping at Bharatpur for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon we arrived at our hotel Bhanwar Vilas Place where we were blessed by a priest on arrival. Late afternoon we took a fabulous rickshaw ride to the old town and visited the old Bhanwar Place which was really run down, but beautiful and the we had the honour of visiting the Madan Mohan Ji temple. In the evening we had some ice cold beers in the Palace courtyard with the group followed by Indian dress up and dinner.En savoir plus
