Its not all Medieval Streets

As you drive south and get to the Alsace region the landscape begins to change - from flat and rather uninteresting farming country to a more of a hilly, forest and vineyard area. Colmar, probably the biggest town in this area is quite a size and urban. And on driving in you wonder if you have come to the right place after watching countless YouTube videos. But in its heart is the medieval center we all come to see. Definitely recommend a stopover for a night or two allowing time to see Colmar by day and night - Majority of restaurants seem to open at 7ish . Touristy cafes etc are open during the dayLæs mere
