Nubble Lighthouse

Pretty sure this is the most photographed lighthouse in Maine. Notice the gondola? That would be how the light keeper gets back-and-forth because the lighthouse sits on a small island.
There’s a woman who was born on the island who passed away a some years ago. Apparently there was a huge storm on the night her mother went into labor. They couldn’t Risk getting her off the island.
The other thing I found interesting/gross was all the white on the rock with all the birds on it.Read more
