In the morning after a hearty breakfast we visited the ANZAC museum just along the scenic drive. It was very well presented, with each of us being given a card with which we were identified with a character from WW1 and were able to follow their story through various battles. At 10.39 we joined Tony for an entertaining tour of the fort, which dates from a similar period to the Verne on Portland. After coffee we shopped at IGA, fuelled the car and bought stamps for cards.
An afternoon walk along the boardwalk was very enjoyable topped off with Tasmanian bubbles to complete the day.Read more
