Egypt to Luxor/ Nile boat embarkation

Up at 4:15 to get ready and out of hotel for our intra-air trip to Luxor. No coffee😒

Processing the airport was easier this day ..but I have reservations about returning to this airport...like war time security. Makes the tour feel like jumping through hoops. Luxor airport a different story...quick and efficient. Easy breezy. Onto our bus and begin the journey from Luxor

Headed straight to our tour of Karnak. A marvelous guided tour of probably the most glorious ancient temple city ever built. A warm day but not to bad. Then onto a papyrus art center and I bought a real artist painted papyrus sheet, good price for the art piece...around $ 50.00.

Finally on to our Nile boat. Very classy and actually posh for a Nile boat. Had a great buffet lunch. 90 minutes chillin, then back off for the Luxor complex and then the Karnak light and sound show.

Luxor was magnificent. Brought back memories of my last trip 37 years ago, nice to see Luxor really thriving. Now onto the Karnak sound and light show. And it did not disappoint. The actors verses made it.

Back to the boat and dinner. Afterwards made self to the sun deck...wow!!! I am home. The best sun deck I ever saw. Celina and I smokin and conversing to late.Read more
