    The largest park in Warsaw at 76 hectares, originally containing just a bathhouse, it was expanded to its present form largely in the 17th century with the building of several residences, follies and the laying out of formal gardens. We spent the afternoon here before getting on our train to Kiev, wandering about and listening to some musical groups who were playing around the grounds as part of a festival. I did feel a little sorry for them as in the neighbouring park the American Chamber of Commerce were setting up for a shindig and soundtesting the most enormous bass speakers. Bloody Yanks!Read more
