First Stop - Mt Rushmore KOA Resort..with the mountains in the backdrop it’s reported to be one of the most posh campsites the World. The beauty of the Black Hills exceeded all expectations and the KOA lives up to all the hype. It is 180 acres with campsites and cabins, two pools, a restaurant, wine shop, ATV’s, horses and is a Disney Land for kids with bballl, volleyball, water slides, etc. Only a 5-hour drive from Denver makes us wonder why we waited so long to visit.
