Beautiful Nong Khiaw

Nong Khiaw is tucked between steep Karst mountains and ideal for using our legs for walking for a change. Despite cycling many kilometres over hilly terrain, Melissa still gets the worse muscle ache from hiking 😅 We might have neglected other muscles needed for walking 🙈
We leave Nong Khiaw to go further north on the best and tiniest boat ever. Surprisingly all our panniers and our two bicycles fit on that slim strip of wood and we discover how many small villages are only reachable by boat along the River Nam Ou.Read more
