Entering Vietnam

Such a cool border crossing, getting from Laos to Dien Bien Phu brings you from high mountains to wide flat rice fields in a valley. You notice immediately that Dien Bien Phu is a proud city where the Vietnamese conquered the French. Everywhere people wear Vietnam T-shirt’s, old war helmets and the red flag with a star is hung all over the city. We are slowing running out of time to catch our flight in Bangkok which is why we have to take the night Bus to Hanoi.Read more
