San Juan de Ortega to Burgos

The day started with a fellow pilgrim letting us know there had been a severe weather warning for wind and rain. At some stage we were walking in wild weather and it was cold. We’ve walked through fields of sun flowers that are finished flowering, they would have been spectacular, I came across one small ray of sunshine today. We saw a tiny car that really could have passed as a large toy. We arrived in Burgos with great excitement to have returned to our starting point of last years Camino.
