Early start to Carry on with

Day 20/40 Half way. At Carrion de las Condes now. About 400km to go. Woke very early and knew there was an open cafe nearby so was there by 6.30 am for coffee and croissant. It was dark when I left so I walked with my head torch with another pilgrim til it was light. Arrived at the hostel before rain set in with a quick coffee stop on the way by 11.30. 19km today and big rest afternoon planned ready for 27km tomorrow.
