Day 39/40. Today’s walk was 27km. 39,000 steps. Soph coped very well. Saw a bunch of pilgrims with witches hats on for Halloween. Lots of cafes and albergues were closed as it’s a public holiday here. It’s also the end of the season for the Camino. It’s a brave pilgrim who would set out heading into winter to walk this path. You’d need to carry plenty of food and accommodation less available. Strangely we saw no one we knew on the way today. People we’ve met are already there or behind us. Last day tomorrow. 20k walk for Sophie’s birthday then chill in Santiago planned. 🎉💪😊Baca lagi
