First day in Slovenia

So we have arrived in a 'city' called Maribor in Slovenia. We haven't travelled too far in distance but it took a long time to get here. Some of the views travelling were really picturesque ....green forests, hills and lakes. It is quite pretty in the town too. The apartment is really rough looking on the outside (just think inner city flats) but very modern and lovely on the inside. It seems a safe place. We have now eaten and had a fabulous ice cream where all the locals seemed to be queuing. We will explore the area better tomorrow.Read more
