Tirana, Albania

It was approximately 2 and a half hours by bus from Shkoder to Tirana. On the bus we spotted two huge eagles, unfortunately we didn't get to photograph them, we were too slow. There appears to be a lot of rural industry, local people selling fruit and vegetables, a team making beach sunshades from woven straw or raffia and another set of people making what we think were dog kennels! The scenery was very rural until 20 km or so before we got to Tirana. Tirana is a very modern city, it has things that are common to many cities including begging and a certain level of pollution. Most of the women in this part of Tirana dress very smartly, I felt decidedly under dressed. We had a good walk round and a lunch out.
