Day 13 4/6/26

Kris brought my food to my room last night he was really concerned about me. He’s only a young boy but gave me the biggest cuddle ever and spoke about in COVID-19 how he has working in another country and was confined to his hotel room during Covid for a really really long time so he knew how I felt being confined to my room with my leg.
This morning he came to visit me at breakfast and brought me some oil. He treated me to it. He said to put it on three times a day and it will help heal. How sweet was that. All the staff have been so lovely this morning asking how I am.
I spent the day chilling around the rooftop pool which was just what I needed. I did some gentle physio in the pool which really helped, I had lunch round the pool. The sun sets around 530 so at 5pm I went and showered and lay on my bed with my compression sock and my leg elevated.Read more
