    Mt. Carmel, as sited in the first book of Kings is located in Haifa. This is a city of the Carmelites. The Stella Maris, a Carmelite Monastery, is located above the cave where Elijah, the prophet, once lived. "Wonder-worker" is painted on the ceiling. We also saw the Bay of Acco on our way to Nazareth.Read more
