Koh Phi Phi

Left Phuket to arrive at Koh Phi Phi Island by ferry. Arrived with cloud and a bit of rain so checked straight into our hotel. Mooched around the island exploring the local shops and markets before heading to the viewpoints which were stunning - the photos don’t do the views justice. Out to the beach bars for drinks and to watch the evening fire shows before finally calling it a night at 3am. The next morning we hired a longboat to explore some more of the coastline and snorkelled including at shark point although we didn’t spot any sharks (pictures to follow separately). Having had a great time and not wanting to stop, we returned to hire a kayak straightaway to explore monkey bay on the north side of the island as the sun was setting. Finished with a nice dinner and a mooch around the battered streets one last time before calling it a night ready for the early speedboat in the morning. Next stop Koh Lanta.Læs mere
