York

There will undoubtedly be more York to come, especially when I actually go into the Minster. History is so accessible here, it's amazing. The pic that looks like the ruins of the inside of a tower (the one with the red stripe) is the remains of a Roman fort (with Roman-era coffins there at the base) and remnants of the old medieval wall built on top of it.Weiterlesen
