Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial

Sobering, but absolutely worth going to. Dachau was the first concentration camp and the model for others, the training site of the SS, and the only camp in operation throughout the 12 year Nazi campaign. The large map shows the full size of the site when it was in operation. The smaller map is of the crematorium (the room with holes in the roof is the gas chamber).
