Damrak and City Center

The Damrak is main drag along the original central canal leading off the central train station, where ships came and went out to sea back in the day. The kiosks are part of the famous (but touristy) flower market; the black wooden house is Amsterdam's oldest; the brick church is where the Mayflower pilgrims that came to America (after first fleeing to Leiden) originally worshipped (which I thought was neat); the ramp structure leads to an underground bicycle parking garage that holds upwards of 5,000 bikes (!)
