Back in Bath
February 5 in England ⋅ ☁️ 50 °FFinally able to see the city when it wasn't raining :P And this time I got the circle in the ground that matches the one I saw in Chipping Campden at the other end of the Costwold Way.
Finally able to see the city when it wasn't raining :P And this time I got the circle in the ground that matches the one I saw in Chipping Campden at the other end of the Costwold Way.
Took a walk along the Avon River canalside, so sae a new side of Bath before heading back to London :)
British Museum was obviously a repeat (and a welcome one), but the West End walk included some completely new areas :)
Saw a lot more of Westminster this time, instead of just the abbey. Definitely the prettiest part of London in terms of buildings.
Includes Tower of London, St. Paul's, and various gorgeous buildings in the historic part of the city.
This isn't far from the area where we're staying. The market is along a canal, and part of it is housed in old stone stables. (It's also the birthplace of Punk culture.)
Finally got to see Harrod's without scaffolding all over it. And yes, went back to the V&A museum while in the area, because reasons :P
This was always one of my favorite cities I've seen so far, so I was happy to come back 🥰
Did a self-guided tour instead of the student tour I did before when I came here solo, so I saw a few different things (including an alleged descendant of the "Newton" apple tree)😁
Traveler Looks cold and damp there. Great pictures though. Enjoy your travels and have fun in jolly ol England.
Traveler Three drowned rats 😜
Traveler It’s been raining here too
