Back in Bath

Finally able to see the city when it wasn't raining :P And this time I got the circle in the ground that matches the one I saw in Chipping Campden at the other end of the Costwold Way.
Bit More Bath

Took a walk along the Avon River canalside, so sae a new side of Bath before heading back to London :)
British Museum and West End

British Museum was obviously a repeat (and a welcome one), but the West End walk included some completely new areas :)
Westminster walk

Saw a lot more of Westminster this time, instead of just the abbey. Definitely the prettiest part of London in terms of buildings.
The City walk reprise

Includes Tower of London, St. Paul's, and various gorgeous buildings in the historic part of the city.
Camden Town and Market

This isn't far from the area where we're staying. The market is along a canal, and part of it is housed in old stone stables. (It's also the birthplace of Punk culture.)
Kensington

Finally got to see Harrod's without scaffolding all over it. And yes, went back to the V&A museum while in the area, because reasons :P
Greenwich

First time I've been here, and it was actually neater than I expected. Pics include the Royal Naval College, Queen's House, the Cutty Sark, the Observatory, and a pic with the Prime Meridian. Also hadRead more
Return to York

This was always one of my favorite cities I've seen so far, so I was happy to come back 🥰
Cambridge

Did a self-guided tour instead of the student tour I did before when I came here solo, so I saw a few different things (including an alleged descendant of the "Newton" apple tree)😁
Montmartre and Sacre Coeur

This is the area we're staying in (another totally new area for me), in Montmartre right at the base of Sacre Coeur. We went up there to the Basilica for sunset over Paris, which was well worth theRead more
Return to the Louvre and Champs Elysees

Rainy day again, so it was a good day for a museum lol. Still did a quick walk down the Champs Elysees, though (because...macarons). And this time I got to actually see Place de la Concorde (where theRead more
Historic Core of Paris

Revisited some of my favorite areas of Paris, and some of my mom's old stomping grounds :) Also, some of the scaffolding has finally been taken off of Notre Dame, so much more of that was visible thanRead more
Marais and the Orsay

The Marais is definitely one of the neater areas of Paris, and this is the first time I've been to the Orsay (famous art museum with lots of Impressionists) so that was neat :) (And yes, I know myRead more
