The first day since the start of our sail that we didn’t have beautiful sunny weather so we took advantage of it and had a lazy day. Late sleep in, banana pancakes, reading, and a little explore across to the other side of the island.
We were watched paddling ashore by a couple of seals, spotted some Arctic hares and even a white-tailed sea eagle!
However, again we were saddened by the amount of rubbish along the beach.
It was also interesting to test almost a full day enclosed in wet weather and how to manage the condensation inside, a task made much easier by our little diesel heater!Read more
