We woke up to a stunning day in Akkarvik with a very enticing ski slope right in front of us and many more surrounding us. It was very, very tempting to postpone arriving in Tromsø another day, however, our friend Rob was arriving on Sunday to join us for a week and we had quite a list of things we needed for the boat and the day after was a Sunday and shops are closed…
So we settled for watching skiers through the binoculars as we motored along. Some pretty epic ski runs were had!
Arriving in Tromsø we met and had dinner with Dag, the boyfriend of our ex-bosses sister, who had also arranged a spot for us in the marina.
And so we had an admin weekend - shopping, fixing things, changing oil, doing laundry, etc. But it meant that when Rob arrived on Sunday afternoon we were ready to head straight out to tie up next to Dag at Nipøya for the night.
