Ran out of air as we headed for the surface. I almost did something stupid and began heading for the surface and I realized I still had to do the 3 minute safety stop if you don’t you can end up with life threatening bends from nitrogen in your system

Swam back down and found a gal that I gave the “out of air” sign to and we did some buddy breathing for 3 minutes and tada.
