    Cannot begin to describe the feelings from Paris. above everything else was the loss of Lynda. But I felt that somehow? She was seeing all this through me and around me. Hard to describe, but while in Paris I had one of the most profound spiritual encounters in my life. The other was in Athens when Lynda and I were "visited" by her mom. all that aside, Paris was for me, not the "well don't want to lose the ticket" mindset instead? Very healing, very spiritual in manners I won't go into, but I can say that I laid some ghosts to rest in Normandy.Read more

    Visiting Omaha beach to pay my respects. you can still feel the violence here. According to the rules of visitation, only veterans are allowed to walk on the grass around the graves. and it is a ritual to take the sand from Omaha beach and rub it into the name of the marker so you can read it. Out of 9000 graves with no index or map of names I was aware of, I was able to find the one that mattered to me.Read more
