Flora and fauna by Rachel

I have been struck by the abundance of wildlife here. Bird watchers in the UK are a very patient bunch. You go into a bird hide here and the number of different birds milling around outside is overwhelming, whenever I have been into a hide in the UK I have felt fortunate to see a duck. Walking around the rainforest feels like time travelling with some incredibly old species of plant and scenery that hasnt changed much for 1000s of years. A very special place that I would love to spend some more time discovering.Read more
