A disappointing failure to spurt by KC

We stopped off at the pretty town of Kiama on the way to Sydney, home of one of the most visited blowholes in Oz. Depending on which tourist guide you read, it spurts up to 60 metres in the air. Only of course it doesn't. The blowhole only actually spurts at high tide, when there is a strong south westerly breeze, and a letter 'b' in the month. Mind you, we were not the only disappointed visitors playing a fun game of 'how long do we have to stare at the blowhole to justify our visit even though it clearly isn't doing anything'. 600,000 people visit a year.
