Full Day in Madrid pt. 1

We got a late start, but made the most of today! We started with brunch (at 2 pm) which was yummy. I got salmon, egg, and guacamole toast. After that, we just walked around the city. We toured another cathedral, which was beautiful. The shrine above the stairs seemed to be the stations of the cross. We then walked around the Madrid palace, which had beautiful views of the city. We finished our city tour with local ice cream, which was again delicious. We met another one of freeman’s Dominican Republic friends at the ice cream shop. She was super nice!
