Travel Day: Athens to Prague pt. 1

With out flight boarding at 3:30, we got an early start to our day! We woke up at 7, got breakfast, and then headed to the acropolis. It is so beautiful. The Parthenon and theatre were so gorgeous and very intact. Crazy to think about how old these building are (older than Jesus) and the fact that parts of them are still standing. The location is also insane, as it sits atop the city. The views are incredible. From there, we headed to the acropolis museum to see various sculptures and artifacts from the time. It would’ve been cool to spend more time here, but we had to make sure we made our flight in time. We finally headed to the first Olympic stadium. There wasn’t much left standing, but very cool to see where it all started. We headed back to our Airbnb around 11 and got ready to leave! I really enjoyed this part of our day!Weiterlesen
