We started our day off with some brunch. I grabbed some yummy eggs Benedict with trout. We then headed to the Czech Jewish Memorial and Cemetery. Inside the memorial was the handwritten names of every Czech Jew who was killed in the holocaust. Several giant walls were covered in names. I found the closest name to Pavlik I could, Pavlickova, while Cole found a few Pfiefers as well. We then walked through the cemetery, which is one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in the world, with headstones dating back to the 15th century. After this, we headed to the Charles Bridge, constructed in the 14th century, that is the oldest bridge over the Vltava River. It was a beautiful arch as you enter and spanning its entirety are 30 statues dedicated to saints and Christ! Very impressive!Read more
