• New old town. Grackles and grockels

    12. december, Panama ⋅ ☁️ 26 °C

Bit harsh, not so many grockels. the old old town was trashed by Henry Morgan in 1670 so they built a new old town in 1673. Colonial style buildings, black vultures, unbelievably expensive shops and Panama hats, brown pelicans and noisy grackles, views to city high rises, canal museum (hugely about politics more than digging) and average food (so far and expensive too). BBC promised thunder and lightning all day but didn't rain.

Also found "Sombrero"Street. decorated with many hats!
