New trainee trek leader arrives - Jez Lazell - "Hi Jez"
Trekked with Mike and Annie
Toubkal inaccessible due to too much snow so went and skied at Oukaimden. (Same day as Yasser Arafat plane brought down by storm in Sahara
Bacon Sandwich at Ski resort
Tried to teach Berbers some cricket - Not naturals.
Jez named Mr Riseau by Berbers due to predeliction for carrots
Dave White, Vending machine salesman, client on trip. Got the shits so rode a mule. Picture the scene. Walking down steep slope from pass in the rain, Dave had to sit on mule, facing backwards and holding onto back of saddle to stay in place. Officially the most miserable i have ever seen anyone.Read more

Ait Bougamez, Jebel Rhat, Ascent of Jebel Mgoun, back to Ait Bougamez. Central Atlas won a place in my heart. Remote, spectacular, and hospitable people with a sense of humour.Read more
