Day in Banff - went up on the Gondola. The Lower Terminal is 5,194 feet (1,583 metres) above sea level, the Upper Terminal is 7,486 feet (2,281 metres) above sea level
Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Emerald

Coach tour from here until we get on the cruise ship. Visited Lake Louise, then through the Icefields Parkway. Walked on the Athabasca Glacier then to Emerald Lake for the night.

Stopped at a town called Lillouet for lunch - it means Spring Onion. Lovely little museum. Past Lake Duffey to Whistler.

We went up Blackcomb Mt via the Gondola, across to Whistler Mountain via the Peak to Peak, then the Skybridge via the ski lift. Saw some Hoary Marmots, they whistle, hence the name.
