• Strasbourg petit france and city

    Dec 10–14, 2024 in France ⋅ ☁️ 6 °C

We both slept pretty well and enjoyed a hotel breakfast before setting off for the day.
We joined the long queue for the Cathedral and had a good look round. I also got my Pilgrim Passport stamped this time. We then headed off to visit Petit France, the oldest part of the city. Valerie took several photos. On our way back, we stopped at The Coffee Stop, where I had a great breakfast on my first visit in May. We had Chocolat Viennois and cake!
A little retail therapy and a warm in Les Halles left us both somewhat poorer.
Back in the city, we had a wander round the Market in Place Kleber, Broglie- where we had mulled wine with spices- and popped into another church, that had the story of Strasbourg during the war.
After hunting round for a restaurant for tonight to no avail, we trudged back to the Hotel. Just round the corner from the hotel, we spotted a restaurant. We are booked in for 7pm and will eat whatever they have to
    😊
