San vicente de Barquera

We started with chocolate con churros in a cafe which we were directed to by a 95 year old man who chatted and showed us pictures of his family. It was a fairly short walk today at just 12 km along the coast road with spectacular views of the Picos de Europa behind the stunning beaches. It was hot again so we took it quite slowly. We have got beds in the Albergue but the top bunks have no ladders! I’ve been given a chair to use which seems to work.Read more
