The Marathon

Set off quite early and parked ourselves on Tower Bridge, the halfway point. Saw the wheelchair racers, the women, then the leading men, including Mo Farah. Great atmosphere and then Ellie arrived just after midday. Over to the embankment for mile 25, then finished with a pint near Westminster. Heaving on the tube so walked to covent garden to get back to Turnham Green. A pint in the Tabard (saw Sian Phillips and got served by Colin Firths son Luka!) Back to Charlie's for a lovely stew and chatLæs mere
