    By now, we had discovered the cheapest place for a beer at Festers - 80 tl (£1.80), so stopped there and discovered the owner Huseyin had a daughter who goes to the Hawarden primary school. Went back to the beach bar for some sun bathing and swimming, then back to base.     Local chilled day

    Had some breakfast at the municipal cafe, cheap, but we had too much. Drinks at festers and then back to the pool for a couple more wines and chatted to 2 women who were from near Birchgrove, Swansea. Drinks back at base, but by the time we were due to head out, Helen was far too tiddly, so put her to bed and cooked some noodles and dodgy meatballs (source of dodgy stomach?)Read more

    The boat trip

    Over to Kos

    Turkish tum still gripping Mark, but we head off on an early dolmus to catch the ferry over to Greece. 25 minutes later, we are in a lovely town, stop for a fresh lemonade then have a wander.     Celebrating 15 years

    Had some pool time, then walked over to Festers for some lunch. Sampled the famous 'home made' chips and another salad.     Yalikavak

    A bit of a walk to the Oasis mall and eventually caught a dolmus. Half hour ride over the mountain to Yalikavak for (£1 each). Visited the marble marina full of ridiculously expensive yachts then explored, but at 1st sight not a lot going on and very few people about. Messaged Ang Hughes who has a place nearby and we found a nice place to eat on the beach - J.Joes. A nice spinach pizza and some prawns. Bus back then out into gumbet and even had a go on the karaoke (give us a little respect went down a storm 🙃). Crap food at columbia nearly ended with an argument, time for bed!Read more

    Last day of 12

    Packed our bags and had an hour by the pool then checked out at midday. Dolmus into Bodrum and a very chilled afternoon overlooking the bay. Back into gumbet chatting to a few English families (so cultured, not). A bit rushed to get to the Mistral for some food before our transfer. A lovely chicken fajitas that we could have shared.
