Route 17 in the book, the whiskey trail. Past lots of distilleries and a lovely winding road, really quiet. People fly fishing in the river and we spotted a red squirrel! Grantown looked nice, then weOkumaya devam et
Day 15 - onto Stirling

Saw a red squirrel in the road as we left, then roughly followed Route 14. Kenmore and Killin, where we stopped for brunch, then down the very long Dukes Pass, through Callender & Bridge of AllanOkumaya devam et
Day 16 - Back to t'Dales

Popped to check out Stirling and walked to the castle. Very historical and interesting. After a coffee we set off on the long drive south. Too long, had to stop twice. Note to self to break this legOkumaya devam et
Day 17 - homeward bound

Had a quick shower and walk, then set off as weather was poor. 2 hours later back at base after another lovely tour - 8 sites (1 wild camp) = £25 p/n = £413, £225 for fuel for a 1677 mile round trip.
Day 1 Wales & Bridgewater tour

Day 3 - the Coastal path

Walked from our site over to Cwm-yr-eglwys and then Pwllgwaelod. A real up and down spectacular cliff walk which Helen struggled with, but persevered. Charlie knackered, had a pint or 2 at the SailorsOkumaya devam et
Day 4 - Newport - met Charlie

Mark worked all morning, then walked to the beach and up to Newport for a few pleasant pints in the sun. Charlie and Meredith joined us and had some pub grub
Day 5 - Newport to Bridgewater

Left at 9.30, via the Gwaun Valley route, overland to Narberth, then onto Cardiff. Had to hang around for mum, then on southwards to Ellie and Gaz at Bridgewater. 170 + miles in total, 4 hours +Okumaya devam et

A small lie in and coffee, then off to the Great wood, the Foxy cafe and the Quantock hills. Gaz delighted to show us the Hinkley point view

Popped to Caerfai Bay for a walk, 2 dead seals and a pup 🥲 but spotted a live one as well. Off to Solva, nice site Llangungar, walked into Solva 20 minutes and had a pint. 6.5 miles walked today 🚶♂️
Solva to Dale

Arrived in Harlech, too early to check in. Walked to lovely beach for Charlie to have a run. Nothing open in Harlech so pot noodle and cheese for dinner !
Harlech and Barmouth

Forest of Dean & Devon

Drove down to Coleford, long trip due to Easter traffic. Campsite OK, but just a stopover. Day 2 onto Brixham, 3.5 hours. Lovely afternoon in the harbour, seals and pasties
South west Cornwall

Off to the west. Bit of a trip, another 2 hours. Stopped in Newquay to see the centre of the surf universe. Amazed to see Fat willy's surf shack still there!
West Cornwall

Trying to chill now, no driving. Walked 2 miles along the coast to porthtowan. Bonkers Charlie on the beach then a pint at the Blue bar and a walk up the hill back to base and lovely food
St Ives

Off to St Ives via coastal road. Had a lovely day although the weather wasn't great. Busy vibe, loads of shops, eateries and gorgeous beaches. Celebrated Good Friday with a fish meal at 'By the sea'.
