Had a lovely evening in Wotton and after a light breakfast had a little mosey around the village. Lovely little place with walks on the doorstep onto the Cotswold way, we'll definitely go back. Had a coffee in Dursley, then checked out the George pub and campsite, not great. Called to see how Wynn was settling in with Mum and Dad and introduced Charlie. Popped to the Sally Inn and got a takeaway for all of us. Off to bed knackered!Read more

Wynn finally arrives! 🙌

Awoke to messages, no Wynn yet, but it doesn't seem long. Quickly get some things together and jump in Ruby before 7am. Stopped in the services and set off again convinced he'd be there when we arrived, but no. Helen went up and then rings to say Ellie is going to theatre. Finally, the little man arrives. A long and difficult labour, but so proud of Ellie. Proud grandparents indeed. Everybody is shattered and we decide to book a hotel in Wotton under edge and have a nice evening semi celebrating 🍾Read more

Headed home but...

Had to head home as Charlie needed his 2nd vaccination and still no sign of Wynn. Stopped via the lovely Ironbridge for a coffee, home and unloaded. Mark had to drop off work stuff and later on, we were heading for an early night, when Ellie called to say contractions had started!Read more

Drove to Cardiff to see Mum. Stayed several hours as it looks like Mum's had a mini stroke, sadly. Lunch with the family helped mow the lawn, then over to Penally Court campsite (£27). Got the Van stocked up, then headed south via the Squirrel in Ludlow for a pitstop. 40 minutes onto the Yew tree inn campsite (£25) just north of Ross on wye.
