Booked my singapore hotel on landing at the airport. Holy moly this is an expensive city! Just finding something really simple and clean cost me $350 for the night!!! And it wasn't anything special.
My hotel was in a really cool area though. Huge temple a block away and tons of pretty streets full of restaurants and shops. I think i was in a muslim/arab part of the city. Had to walk a bit further to find a place that offered beer on a menu.
Didn't stay out very late. Needed to catch up on sleep. Plus, prices were so high, doing nothing was therapeutic towards what i paid for my hotel.Read more
