Penang days 1 and 2

Very quick 20 minute flight up and down from the island of langkawi to the island of penang. Got to my hotel at 1pm but couldnt check in until 3pm. So headed to a nearby pub to wait it out. This city sure has a lot of them.

Met a really nice couple from auatralia and we had a blast chatting away for a few hours. Finally checked in and met back up with them at their new location. They had met up with a bunch of people from their hostel. Followed the group around to a few different places, a karaoke bar, then a live band and a club. Fun night.

Next day slept in and then walked around the old town. Had a good meal and decided to have a quiet evening at my hotel and catch up on rest.Read more
